Electric Circuit And Types.

Circuit is the path through which electricity flows.

     Electricity can only flow through conductors, electrolytes and semiconductors.In electronics current are made to flow through wires or circuit boards which consists of metal sheet cut into paths on an insulating base.

        Circuits are use to connect electric components together, imagine how our electronics like smart phones will look like without them,they would just look untidy and complex to repair when broken down.

          Types Of Circuit boards.

This type of board is made by using a pcb printer machine to scrap out some copper sheets on a board to form cuircuits.

1.Printed circuit board {PCB}

Almost all electronics are made with PCB due to their small size,low costs and easy to assemble electric components on them.

PCB are insulated flat board that contains copper shits cut into circuit on them.Hole is drilled on the board to insert components in them and then bind to the copper circuit by lead.It is used in computer mother board, smartphone panel, robots, radios,TVs,and home appliances e.t.c.

2.vero boards

This type of board are made from a plastic like surface which consists of a copper shits with line demarcations.It has much holes on it in columns and rows in which components are placed in it and soldered to the board,those ones in columns are connected together while those in rows are not connected.  It is use in making circuits for electronics projects,and simple electronics because of it low cost and easy to use and are available in different sizes.

3.Bread boards

This type of board is made with plastic and consists of holes and metals connected to one another.

It is used in making  temporary circuits,and testing circuits before soldering on boards permanently.

It is also cheap to buy and available in different sizes.

       Types Of Circuit Connection.

There are two methods of connecting component together in a circuit which are 

a.Parallel

Components are connected end to end in this type of connections.

As shown in the diagram below batteries are connected together end to ends.

b.series connection

Components are connected one after the other.As shown below batteries are connected together in series.
